Presented by My Haiti Travels
This is the second annual 5-day international group tour of Haiti during Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend from Thursday, January 16 to Monday, January 20, 2014, including leisure activities, touristic exploration and volunteerism. You don’t want to miss it!
ImpactWeek offers vibrant events featuring live entertainment, fine dining, nightlife, beach resort activities on the Arcadins Coast and more. Guests will enjoy one-of-a-kind cultural affairs, historic excursions, artisan market visits and city tours of Haiti that capture its long and renowned history as the first independent sovereign nation in Latin America and the Caribbean, and the first black republic in the world when it declared independence from France during the Haitian Revolution on January 1, 1804.
The robust tour schedule also allows quality time for individual exploration of Haiti’s dynamic Taino, African, Latin and French ancestry.
To coincide with the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day holiday in the United States, the ImpactWeek itinerary includes a “Project Day” to allow participants to serve the youth in Haiti through volunteerism at a special site.
